Short insightful read on all the other things we could use the money that is spent on engagement rings and weddings Including outsourcing chores when you have a handful of little ones or paying for a babysitter so the parents can go on date nights more often -- things that would help build a stronger marriage or allow for better communication. The ring and the wedding, no matter how nice the flowers are or what kind of food you serve, won't keep a marriage together.
